Who we are

We are an organisation who believe that making training available can create lasting change within our community.

What are we?

We are a community owned co-operative focused on offering training within our community.

A 'community owned co-operative' is an organisation that offers people the opportunity to share ownership and a say in how we run our organisation. The people who take up this offer are our members.

Who are our members?

Our members are all sorts of people.

We would like our members to be as diverse as the people of Oxford. The one thing they have in common is an interest in what we are trying to achieve.

You can become a member for £10, and if you are interested in supporting what we are doing we would encourage you to do so.

Once a year our members get together at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) to reflect on the year just passed and the coming twelve months.

Who runs our organisation?

The aims the organisation is seeking to achieve are published on our website, and every year our members meet to discuss the activity of the organisation in relation to these aims.

The responsibility for decisions made on a day to day basis falls on the management committee which the members elect. This management committee then employ a team of qualified staff to deliver the services we offer to achieve our aims.
